Hi, I’m Alan Spicer. In 2025 I started a serious weight-loss journey after reaching 375lbs (27 stone). This site is my family-friendly, real-world diary of using GLP-1 medication (including Mounjaro)—what worked, what didn’t, the side effects I noticed, and the simple, practical habits I’d genuinely recommend to a friend.

Dad of two (both with ADHD, and my son is autistic), and health has been a big part of our family story—my sister has had bariatric surgery, and I dealt with gallbladder issues in 2025 and emergency gallbladder surgery after gallstones (Feb 2026).
